The Lynn Fund partners with the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center to provide up-to-date information about traumatic brain injury to those on active duty, reservists, retirees and dependents.  Multi-use sport “Brain Helmets” are available to military families thanks to a generous grant from the DVBIC.

America's armed forces are sustaining attacks by rocket-propelled grenades, improvised explosive devices, and land mines almost daily in Iraq and Afghanistan. These injured soldiers require specialized care from providers experienced in treating traumatic brain injury.

DVBIC is a multi-site medical care, clinical research and education center serving active duty military, their dependents and veterans with traumatic brain injury. DVBIC provides neurological, psychiatric, neuropsychological, phychosocial, laboratory, audiological and EEG examinations at the military sites.  VA sites provide rehabilitation, physical therapy and occupational therapy.
